Hello Reader,
So, last weekend I escaped to this adorable little village called Ottersberg—it’s up north here in Germany. Reader, you’d love it there; it's so peaceful, and they have so many horses. Like, it was seriously amazing. I left feeling recharged, and my creativity was buzzing. I even wrote this newsletter on Monday (though, oops, you're only seeing it now on Friday).
It got me thinking—what do you do to get ready for the day or week ahead? Any little rituals? Let me know! ☕️
3 Quick Design Tips
Headboard Fabric Choice
Opt for darker fabrics on upholstered headboards if you rest your head against it. Oils from hair and skin can stain lighter fabrics over time. If you’re like me and rarely touch it, lighter tones can work—but darker is safer for frequent use! 😊

Dark Flooring Doesn't Hide Dirt
Dark floors and rugs don’t hide dust or dirt better than lighter ones—they show it more! Opt for light to medium flooring and rugs with colour variation to mask everyday messes. Lighter floors are the way to go for a cleaner look!

Check Your Dining Chairs With Arms
If you’re buying dining chairs with arms, double-check that they’ll fit under your table. Some dimensions often don’t include tabletop height, so chairs might not slide under as expected. Measure carefully, confirm with the retailer, and avoid the “oops” moment!

1 Concluding Thought

My Word for 2025
The word I have set for the year is "Conviction." With conviction, I will move forward without hesitation, trusting that I am capable—even when something is beyond my current abilities.
